Free coal load STL file for the AMS Iron Mountain coal car
Free STL file for a level coal load sized for the AMS Iron Mountain Coal Car (1:20.3, 45 mm gauge). It is 109 × 64 mm with 7 mm sides, rests on the car’s center brace, and keeps every lump of coal under the rim. Solid with a flat bottom, so it prints without supports. No sign-up.

Level with the rim
The AMS Iron Mountain Coal Car has a center brace 9 mm below the top of its sides. This load rests on that brace with 7 mm sides, and every lump of coal stops at 8.8 mm, so the load sits level just under the rim instead of heaping over it.
Solid, so it prints flat
With only 7 mm to work with there is no room for a light underneath, so the load is one solid piece with a flat bottom. It prints right side up with ordinary infill and no supports. The coal bed carries about 1,370 individual chunks in the same lump sizes as the side dump car loads.
Check the fit first
The load is 109 × 64 mm, taken from a measured car, with straight sides. Print the 3 mm fit-test ring before the full load to check the footprint in yours.

Questions
Will it fit my AMS Iron Mountain coal car?
It was sized from one: the load is 109 × 64 mm and rests on the car’s center brace, 9 mm below the top of the sides. Print the 3 mm fit-test ring first to check the footprint in your car.
Can I put an LED under it?
Not this one. At 7 mm tall it is solid, with no cavity. For lit coal, the side dump car loads are hollow with room for an LED.
Does it need supports?
No. It prints flat side down with ordinary infill.
